The gold medallion on its head could be seen as an indicator of this infatuation. When they see round objects, Meowth will play with them and lose track of time. Meowth are considered rivals of Murkrow because they are also known for stealing shiny objects and Meowth and Murkrow have been known to steal from each other’s hordes.
